The value of any piece of data increases as we better understand its many connections within a large dataset. Graphs enable users to use new search using the relationships between data points, but managing large distributed graphs is challenging and requires new data management and search techniques. In this talk, we discuss how we promoted the connections to be first-class citizens in the database as well as our novel filtering techniques to reduce the complexity of graph search in massively scalable, distributed and enterprise-grade environments.
